Abbiamo cominciato nel 2007, io e mio fratello.

Quello che cerchiamo di fare è di preservare la venezianità, nel senso che vendiamo prodotti che possano apprezzare anche i cittadini e non rivolti soltanto ai turisti.

Per questo abbiamo scelto di tenere vini biodinamici e naturali, per esempio quelli della cantina Meteri, e birre artigianali non soltanto italiane ma da tutto il mondo.

Certamente abbiamo dei clienti fissi, ma anche i turisti tendono a tornare da noi più volte durante la loro visita a Venezia.

Per tutti questi motivi per noi non è difficile sopravvivere a Venezia. Sicuramente la posizione ci aiuta, siamo vicini a San Marco. Se fossimo stati in un’altra zona sarebbe stato più faticoso, ma qui ci troviamo bene.

What we try to do is preserve Venetian-ness, meaning that we sell products that might appeal citizens as well, and not just tourists.

This is why we chose to keep biodynamic and natural wines, such as those coming from Meleri winery, and home brews from all around the world.

We certainly have some regular customers, but also tourists come to our shop more than once during their stay in Venice.
For all these reasons it’s not difficult for us to make it in Venice. The location also helps, we are very close to Saint Mark’s [Square, TN]. If we were in a different neighborhood it wouldn’t be that easy, but things are going well here.
